Hey.. Alright, so I'm shopping around thinking about next years drag season. I've got a set of 14" aluminum alloys that I'm thinking I'll probably be running becuase no one seems to be interested in buying them. Seeing as how I'm pretty lazy I don't want to have to always be changing my tires just for a day at the track. So, I was thinking about getting drag radials most likley. That way I could roll around on my race wheels.. Some weekends I'll probably be at the track both Friday and Sunday and I'd like to be able to leave them on for the weekend. (lazy)
So.. Whats the pros and cons of drag radials? Are they more expensive than some slicks would be? Is running slicks with aluminum wheels bad? I think I've heard they might slip or some shit. Are drag radials not as grippy? (Keep in mind my car will be a high 13 second car at the most, so its not going to be blazing fast)

Then I was looking at some. I think they were BFG Pole Positions for about $225 or something like that.. Then I stumbled upon some Yokohama A032Rs. They were almost $100 cheaper each, but from what I understood from reading about them they might not be specifically for drag racing. Do you think there would be any differnce? Does anyone know anything?!
